I just finalized my plans for Summer 2011. Looks like I'll be DC all summer, interning for the U.S. Department of the Treasury!
I'll admit that although I am happy that I did get something, I still feel a tinge of dissatisfaction. I had setting my goals high, I wanted the big name firms and I wanted to start doing Finance (whether it be Asset Management or something Trading related).
This summer is looking to be an interesting experience already, I'm going to have the opportunity to spend an entire 3 months on my own - earning my own wage and paying my own bills (for once).
Bring it on!
